It Takes a Village So Help Us Bring Our Juneteenth Picnic to Life .

There’s something special about being outside in the summertime with your people. Music playing, food on the grill and everybody just existing in joy for a moment. That’s the feeling we want to create with our Juneteenth Picnic.

So many of us talk about missing “the village” .The spaces where women, families, and neighbors can genuinely connect and feel welcomed. Her Circle was built with that exact purpose in mind, and this picnic is one of the ways we want to bring that feeling back.

I personally donated $121 because I believe in what we’re creating. I believe community deserves investment, even when things are hard financially. And honestly? A lot of us are tired. Tired of isolation. Tired of only gathering when something bad happens. or on a birthday We deserve spaces centered around joy and just being too.

That’s why I’m asking for the community to come together and help us make this happen.
